At Waypoint, we are peer-to-peer not institution-to-institution driven. These means our partnership emerge from the organizations that two or more Waypointers are actively involved in.

Founded in 1989 The Barnabas Center is a nonprofit, nondenominational, Christ-centered counseling, training and teaching ministry. The Barnabas name, which means “son of encouragement,” communicates our desire to encourage people by coming alongside them, entering into their daily struggles, and walking with them toward freedom.

Charlotte Rescue Mission is a leader in providing cost-free, faith-based residential recovery programs that help people struggling with the disease of addiction achieve long-term sobriety, find financial stability and stable housing, and build healthy relationships.
Charlotte Rescue Mission was founded in 1938 by a group of Christian business people who wanted to serve those facing homelessness. Because many people who came to the Mission for help during those early years were struggling with addiction, the Mission decided to pivot to focus on addiction recovery.

F3 started in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina and has grown to more than 46 states and 3,400+ scheduled workouts each week through the efforts of men whose lives have been changed by their involvement with F3. The three Fs in its name stand for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith. The Mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Young Life is an international, non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to sharing the truth of God's love and the lessons and values of the Christian faith with middle and high school youth.

Though there are many programs and social services provided to the neighborhoods in and around West Boulevard, many families and individuals still can’t afford the basic necessities of everyday life. WBM aims to develop real and lasting relationships where service, sacrifice, and love are offered and received. It is our desire to see a true revival take place in this corridor of Charlotte, where resources are no longer scarce, hope is realized through both physical and spiritual means, and abundant life floods each home and neighborhood.
