Wes has served two church plants in Charlotte, and two 200-year-old congregations, as well as working with YoungLife as a church partner. He has his Doctorate in Ministry from Gordon-Conwell in Christian Leadership and coaches church planters for E.C.O. Having stayed in town since graduating Davidson, he and Lindsay and their four children (Ellie, Jack, James, Thomas) feel fortunate to have ministered in this city for more than two decades.
Whether it’s organizing a new church within a new denomination, running an ultramarathon with F3, or changing 33 diapers in one day when his triplet boys were first born, Wes embraces intentional challenges as catalysts for personal, relational, spiritual and leadership development.

A Charlotte native with a passion for music, Eric has been serving the Lord in worship leadership for 20 plus years. He believes that singing our faith is a powerful way for believers to come together and unify in truth.
But Eric's love for music is not limited to leading worship. He also enjoys playing instruments, singing, and listening to music. In fact, he considers himself more of a connector than an entertainer, as he seeks to connect people with God through the truth in the songs he sings.
Outside of his role as Worship Director, Eric is a full-time general contractor, using his carpentry skills to renovate homes. He is happily married to Mel, and they have three wonderful boys - Adison, Riley, and Jonathan. In addition to his various roles, Eric is a cancer survivor, which has only deepened his love for life and people.

Logan moved to Charlotte and immediately fell in love with the Waypoint community 3 years ago. She lives here with her husband and 3 sweet children. Logan grew up in Greenville, SC but has lived all along the East Coast.
Before moving to Charlotte, she and her family lived in Miami, FL where they had a close-knit church community. Moving to Charlotte, they knew they wanted to replicate that feeling and Waypoint immediately felt like home. Logan has a passion for traveling, being outside, cooking, spending time with family, and keeping all things straight!
As Executive Assistant at Waypoint, Logan organizes church events, connects people, and does many behind-the-scenes roles. She loves working with people, engaging in social events, and of course attending worship on Sunday mornings!

A former wrestler, fanatic of Marvel, lover of Pokémon, reader of Lord of the Rings, proud Hufflepuff, husband of a doctor in training (Emily) and father of the cat Wookie (named after Star wars, of course). Noah embraces both his inner athlete and nerd. He graduated from Davidson College ('20) where he studied psychology and neuroscience and recently graduated from Liberty University with his Master of Divinity. With Waypoint, Noah is involved in Youth Ministry where he seeks to build new relationships and help the youth discover who they are in the world God created for them. He enjoys watching the encouraging and often mysterious ways God works through people to show his goodness, and he is particularly passionate about how that manifests in fostering friendships, discipleship, and community.
In addition to directing the student ministry at Waypoint, Noah is also a Young Life Church Collaborator. Noah loves to play video games, read a book, work out, or grab a coffee/ice cream with friends.
